CCNP Security - Cisco Certified Network Professional Security

Cisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP Security) certification program is aligned specifically to the job role of the Cisco Network Security Engineer responsible for Security in Routers, Switches, Networking devices and appliances, as well as choosing, deploying, supporting and troubleshooting Firewalls, VPNS, and IDS/IPS solutions for their networking environments.

New CCNP Security Certification program is launching on February 24, 2020
The new CCNP Security certification replaces the current CCNP Security. If you have started working toward the current CCNP Security certification, keep going. In the new program, you’ll receive credit for work you’ve completed in the current certification.

If you pass any exams in the current certification before February 24, you’ll receive badging for corresponding new exams and credit toward the new CCNP Security certification.
If you complete the current certification before February 24, you’ll receive the new CCNP Security certification and badging for corresponding technologies—data center core technologies, application-centric infrastructure, design, or operations.
