What is cloud computing?
Cloud computing is something that has been discussed for over 50 years . The concept was created by two leading experts in the field, JCR Licklider and John McCarthty, and was first used in an academic lecture by information systems professor Ramnath Chellappa in 1997.
Recognized as the great pioneers of this creation, scholars had different views on the term, JCR Licklider envisioned computing as a global network and John McCarthty defined it as a public utility.
Cloud computing is the sharing of resources, software and information over the internet. With technology, data is stored on physical servers, maintained and controlled by a provider, which decreases the workload of computers and thus decreases the high demand on hardware and software.
Everything in the cloud can be accessed anywhere in the world at any time without the need to connect to a personal computer or local server. Just have a browser, internet connection and the login and password of the account you want to use - for your security, do not share your data.
