Hi! I am Alisha, a flight attendant with Mauritius Airlines. My job makes me travel places across different time zones with hectic schedules. It was on board of one such flight that I began to feel uneasy. Even after an adequate sleep post flight, I continued to feel tired. Lymph is composed of two types of cells – B lymphocytes (B cells) which produce antibodies against bacteria; and T lymphocytes (T cells) which kill viruses and foreign cells and trigger the B cells to produce antibodies. There are bean shaped organs called lymph modes located at various parts of the body and are collectively found in neck, underarms, pelvis, groin and abdomen. Hodgkin’s Lymphoma is a cancer of lymph system in which uncontrolled lymph cells are produced. The disease usually starts at lymph nodes around neck.” The doctor also told me about Hodgkin's Lymphoma Treatment success rate.
“How do I cure myself doctor? I asked mentally calculating the cost and risks involved.
“Considering your medical reports, you will need a combination of both radiation therapy i.e. using high energy X rays to kill cancer cells and chemotherapy i.e. drugs being injected in blood stream to kill cancer cells.”
