Rockingham Montessori School Adolescent Program Deputy Principal, Tony Gillespie, announced that two upcoming tours will be held to introduce parents and students to the curriculum and the wide range of academic opportunities the learning institution has to offer.
The first will be on Monday, Aug. 26, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. for the Adolescent Program. The second will be Wed., Sept. 4 at 9:30 a.m. at the Primary School. During the tours, parents will be guided on a visit of classes and exploration of the school grounds. A member of the management team will be able to answer parental questions on a wide variety of topics.
The Adolescent Program at the independent school Perth is for ages 12-18 and curriculum was created in conjunction with Big Picture Education Australia and Murdoch University. Studies are personalised and emphasize passion-based learning for optimal performance and personal growth. Internships are incorporated that assist students in obtaining real-life experience they can use to map their future careers.
High school alternative pathways are offered to help students reach their personal and professional goals. Individuals can undertake VET qualifications at registered training facilities or on campus. Undergraduate bridging programs are available and students can enter university if they desire or a work environment.

Rockingham schools” by parents and students both past and present. The program encompasses a full range of key academics and technology, along with physical education and the arts to stimulate young, inquisitive minds.
The upcoming tours of Rockingham Montessori School provide parents and students with the chance to explore the many learning opportunities available. The tours offer a first-hand look at how the academic programs can benefit students, along with the internships, university preparation, and programs for individuals that want to begin working straight after graduation.
