Why do I Need Tree Pruning?

So, you are justifiably environmentally-conscious, as most people in this great nation are. Our unspoiled, diverse nature and ecosystems are a point of pride in this country, and unlike much of the world, we made some significant effort to preserve the unspoiled natural beauty of our continent even before that became something that weighed on the social, governmental or scientific mind.

We learn from the indigenous people just how valuable nature is, well before there was ever such a scientific concern raised. So, where much of the rest of the world has been tormented by irresponsible industrialization, Australia has been somewhat lucky. So, you may be a little reticent to look into tree pruning Sydney, as you don’t want to be cruel to your trees.

That’s admirable, but I want to assuage any concerns you have, as well as extol the virtues associated with recruiting, because believe it or not, you’re doing your trees a favor. Think of it as something of a spot treatment for trees, and I’ll explain why momentarily. First, however, I want to point out why tree stump removal is in no way environmentally irresponsible.

Removal is okay!

While there are some exceptions, a tree stump is generally dead. Yes, some trees well, over a century or two, grow back a little sickly or and weaker out of a stump, but this isn’t usually the case. Tree stumps are usually in the way, and they tend to be eyesores. The roots of the former tree are also problematic if you wish to till the land near them, or to build anything with a significant foundation or pavement.

I do want to point out that tree stump removal can be a challenge, depending on what you plan to do with the land. I have seen experts make quite impressive work of one in a matter of minutes, when all they had to do was cut it level to the ground. Grinding or drilling them out can take quite a bit longer, as this involves somewhat more complicated and dangerous equipment.

The advantages of tree pruning…

So, I mentioned that tree pruning in Sydney is actually a good thing for your trees. This is actually good for pretty much all threes, but it’s actually pretty mandatory for the health of trees that are indigenous areas with heavy growth, such as forests, jungles and so forth. In a natural environment, there are animals that keep these trees back, and they compete with other trees in the same environment, all of which limit their growth naturally. As a result, these trees don’t have any natural mechanisms to limit this growth, and they can actually get rather sickly or even dangerous if they are allowed to grow unchecked.

Thus, when you prune them back, you are actually helping them providing a natural form of control that they cannot provide for themselves.

In closing, let me also state that, when looking for stump removal or tree pruning, look for a company that has trees as their main focus. A general landscaper is more than capable of handling, but unless you have an outstanding relationship with a landscaper, this is bound to be costlier, and it will take longer as they have to set up for it. Tree-focused services are set up for it, and can make quicker work of it.
