Random access memory (RAM or RAM) - an area of memory designed to store information during one session of work with a computer.
Structurally, RAM is made in the form of integrated circuits. From it, the processor reads programs and initial data for processing into its registers, and writes the results into it.
This memory got the name “operational” because it works very fast, as a result the processor does not have to wait while reading or writing data to memory.

Static memory cells are triggers that can be in two stable states. The main parameters that characterize RAM are capacity and memory access time.
DDR SDRAM (Double Data Rate Synchronous Memory) is considered the most promising for PCs.
