The three Legendary Dog Pokemon have arrived in Pokemon Sword and Shield, thanks to the Crown Tundra DLC expansion. The newly launched Crown Tundra DLC has brought almost every Legendary Pokemon in the game, and Legendary Suicune, Entei, and Raikou are among them. Now to progress the game, trainers have to capture every Legendary Pokemon and complete the challenges.
To catch Entei, Raikou, and Suicune, players have to find them first, and it’s not going to be an easy task. To find three Legendary Dog Pokemon, players have to complete some objectives first. All of these Pokemon are among the strongest Legendary Pokemon. These Legendaries possess different types of abilities. Entei is a Fire-type Pokemon where Suicune is Water-type, and Raikou is an Electric-type Pokemon.
To find these Pokemon, players have to unlock the Max Raid Den. Soon Peony will invite the players to Max Lair, where they have to battle against one Legendary Dog Pokemon. Before reaching this point, players have to face plenty of challenges and a few Dynamax encounters. The Dynamax encounters are never easy because it requires proper techniques, skills, and strength to win.
Legendary Dog Pokemon will appear randomly in the battle, so players will not choose which one to battle. Along with it, one thing players have to remember is that they can only catch one Pokemon at each Max Lair, and one Pokemon can’t be caught multiple times. These are the following restrictions that players have to follow after visiting Max Lair. If trainers are lucky, they can also encounter a Shiny Legendary Pokemon, but that only appears after the battle.
The battle against Entei, Suicune, or Raikou is not going to be easy. These Legendaries have powerful moves and have low weaknesses. Before entering the battle, remember that Suicune is weak against Electric and Grass-type attacks. Raikou is weak against Ground-type moves, and Entei is weak against Water, Rock, and Ground-type moves. Keep their weaknesses in mind and during the battle, use strong counter Pokemon to win the battle.
Max Lair will not open right away because it’s a main area of the game, and players have to complete several objectives and play challenges to unlock it. Most of the Legendary Pokemon of Pokemon Sword and Shield appears in Max Lair, but winning there is not easy for everyone. Trainers have to enter the battle of Max Lair with proper techniques and powerful Pokemon.
As mentioned earlier, if trainers are lucky, they can also encounter the Legendary shiny Pokemon. However, the chances of encountering shiny Pokemon are always low, and it’s all about luck. The odds of appearing shiny Pokemon in the wild are 1 in 300, and during the battle, it’s 1 in 100.

Pokemon Sword and Shield became more interesting after getting the Crown Tundra DLC expansion. The biggest reason for getting positive reviews from the fans is that developers have added all new and returned Legendary Pokemon. Game Boy and Nintendo promised their fans that Crown Tundra would be more interesting than the Isle of Armor, and fans are so happy to experience it as well.
