Insidious: The Last Key

The supernatural horror movie starring Lin Shaye (as Elise Rainier), Angus Sampson, Leigh Whannell, Spencer Locke, Caitlin Gerard, and Bruce Davison, has a tight flashback of a ghost story. The story follows Elise Rainier, who is investigating a haunting mystery in her childhood home when her spirit is possessed by an evil entity. After some fearful attempts, this evil entity refuses to leave Elise’s spirit, which leaves Elise’s family to drastic steps to save her and her grandson, both of whom are stuck in the spirit realm of “The Further.”

The Invitation (2015)

Directed by Karyn Kusama, the Invitation is a tense thriller, set around a dinner party, where a man brings his girlfriend to the party hosted by his ex-wife. This party is nothing but a cover for ulterior motives that his wife conspires against him. A lot of chaos emerges when members of the other cult plan to join David and Eden. The movie stars Logan Marshall-Green as Will, Tammy Blanchard as Eden, Michiel Huisman as David, and Emayatzy Corinealdi as Kira.

It Comes at Night (2017)

Directed by Trey Edward Shults, It Comes at Night is a true horror film that keeps you guessing and paranoid the entire way through the movie. The movie follows a mysterious plague, with a very few survivors in the world, two families are forced to crumble together in a rustic and horror house.
