Coupon: A Good Saving Strategy

Do you find it difficult to save?

Have you tried different saving strategies to no avail?

Do you know that the use of coupon represents a good saving strategy?
In this article, I will be walking us through some facts which show that the use of the coupon is an excellent way to saving. So, without further ado, let’s dig in, shall we?

As useful a saving technique, the use of coupon can be, it is shocking that only a handful of us redeem ours. In fact, studies have shown that only 1% of shoppers use their coupons. Below are some facts and figures to help prove my claim.

The U.S. marketers of Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) according to reported, distributed $470 billion worth of coupons for daily used products like clothing, beverages, food, tobacco, and household items.

While the only coupons redeemed were valued at $4.6 billion, shoppers didn’t get to use a whopping $465 billion worth of coupons even though the report claimed that; $1.54 was the face value of the average coupon.

Statistics show that people who redeemed their Consumer-Packaged Goods coupons were able to make average savings that range from $30 a week or $1560 a year to $50 a week or $2600 a year depending on the face value of their coupons.
Examples of these CPG coupons include; Amazon coupons, Macy’s coupons, Walmart coupons, etc.

These merchants offer these coupons discounts to shoppers to motivate them to shop from their websites. The coupons are offered as promo codes, offer codes or online shopping codes and these codes are a computer or digitally generated codes that consist of numbers or letters. However, Walmart, Amazon and other marketers or dealers do not place their coupon codes on the same websites shoppers make their purchases but instead offer the codes on their affiliate programs.

Now, my question is, if coupons allow us to save that much, why then do most of us shy away from redeeming our codes?

Well, the most common reason according to findings is that; most people find it embarrassing to shop with coupons. They feel it will make people think them cheap or see them as being poor. Whether or not you are one of such shoppers, it will interest you to know that even millionaires make use of coupons.

Yes, millionaires! And why do you think they do so?
The answer is simple; millionaires use coupons for a long-term saving purpose. While it is true that we save money whenever we shop with coupons, the money saved from each purchase we make using coupons isn’t the main reason millionaires use best online coupon codes website. They do so with a bigger picture in mind. That is, they consider the money that can be saved in the long run and invested in their businesses.

So, tell me, if the millionaires can see the use of coupons as a good saving strategy. Why can’t you? Therefore, feel free to join the bandwagon of shoppers who use coupon today, and start saving more yourself.
