We are looking for a qualified IT Technician to install, maintain and repair computers and networks. You will be responsible for ensuring that an adequate IT infrastructure is in place and used to its full potential. As an IT technician, you should have good experience with computer systems and network functions. The ideal candidate will be able to work conscientiously and accurately, and will possess excellent problem-solving skills to correct errors and keep things running smoothly. The objective will be to install and manage high quality networks and computer systems.

Responsibilities
Configure hardware, install and configure software and drivers
Maintain and repair technological equipment (e.g. routers) or peripheral devices
Install LAN / WAN and other networks in good working order, and manage the various components (servers, IPs etc.)
Manage security options and software within computers and networks to maintain privacy and protect against attack

Perform regular upgrades to keep systems up to date
Resolve system faults or bugs, and provide solutions to restore general operation
Organize maintenance sessions to identify and correct deficiencies and dysfunctions
Keep records of repairs and patches applied for future reference
Provide rapid technical assistance and teach users how to use computers properly
