I am Mrs. Tyla Carrol, from Australia. When I came to Mumbai, India for laparoscopic bariatric surgery by Dr. Lakdawala, I was the biggest I have had ever been. I was around 120 kgs and my BMI was 57. I recently had quite a serious breakdown and was on a whole heap of medications. I had gained around 50 kgs in less than five years. My life has changed considerably and I am nearly off all of my medication. My health is much better than before and I was able to re-enter the work force as I have loads of energy. Now I have a healthy self esteem and I am not afraid of people anymore.
